SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES
Dressingupshop.co.uk offers various options for delivery of your order,
which also vary in cost. The following options are currently available:
BUY AS MANY ITEMS AS YOU WANT IN ONE TRANSACTION AND PAY ONLY
ONE SHIPPING CHARGE.
We aim to despatch all orders received by 3pm the same day, subject
to seasonal periods and demands, such as Halloween and Christmas periods.
Many purchases are left to the last minute, so to avoid disappointment
please ensure that you choose the most suitable option for your order.
Whilst we endeavour to get your order to you as quickly as possible,
we cannot accept any responsibility for delays caused by any of the
carriers that we use.
UK Deliveries
- Royal Mail First Class Post: £2.95 1st Class Post for
very small items ie gloves/glasses etc. For all other items the rate
is £4.95 1st Class Recorded Signed. Note that this
is not a guaranteed service as Royal Mail state that they "aim” and
not guarantee delivery by the next working day.
- Royal Mail – Special Delivery – Next Day: £9.95 Guaranteed
Next Day. (Delivery days Monday to Friday only). If orders are despatched
on a Friday by RMSD Royal Mail are only obliged to
guarantee delivery on the next working day, ie Monday. Saturday deliveries
are at the discretion of the Royal Mail local Sorting Office and they
are not obliged to deliver on Saturdays.
- Commercial Courier - Saturday: £25.95 Guaranteed
Saturday delivery.
- British Forces Post Office: delivery by Royal Mail 1st Class
Post: £4.95 Due to the complexities of the
BFPO network and geographies, we cannot give you any information
about their services or guarantee any service levels.
- Delivery Upgrade: Should your delivery exceed the
respective weight limits, we reserve the right to switch your order
to the most cost effective service, for example if you pay for Royal
Mail Special Delivery and the order exceeds 2kilos we will switch it
to a Commercial Courier – Next Day delivery service..
International Deliveries
Airmail transit times vary by Country and or Geographical Region.
Your local postal authority may be able to give you transit times for
your own Country.
- Rates vary, depending on the item(s) and Country of Destination
- Import duties and local taxes: For deliveries outside of
EU you may incur Import duty and or local taxes, these costs are
your responsibility not Dressingupshop.co.uk If you fail to pay these
charges if they are levied and the delivery is returned to us we
will only refund the cost of the items less any returns expenses
that we may be asked to pay.
How do I return an item?
If you have received a faulty product it should be returned within 30
days of delivery to the following address:

Please ensure all retail packaging and a copy of the sales receipts are
returned in the parcel.
When the product has been received will be examine it and if found to
be faulty will exchange it immediately.
I have changed my mind and wish to return the item for a refund.
Can I return it?
Under the UK’s Distance Selling Regulations, you have a 30 day ’cooling-off’
period where you may return an item in its original condition and retail
packaging if you no longer require it. It is however, your responsibility
to return the item at your own expense, in perfect, re-saleable condition
and if it is blister packed it must not be broken open. We will then
refund you for the purchase amount minus the original postage cost, which
is a non-refundable service.
Not at home when carrier calls. For Royal Mail
1st Class Recorded and Royal Mail Special Delivery: Royal Mail will make
only one attempt to deliver and if you are not available to sign for it
they will leave you a card advising they have attempted to deliver and
invite you to collect the delivery from your local sorting office or post
office. If you choose to collect it from your nearest Post Office they
will make a charge at the post office where you designate the collection.
If you collect it from the sorting office where the parcel has been returned
to, then there is no additional charge. If you fail to collect from Royal
Mail they will not communicate with you or us, they will simply return
the delivery to us. Any re-delivery costs will be at your expense.
FOR COMMERCIAL COURIERS: If you are not available when
the courier calls they should leave a card asking you to contact their
local depot and make arrangements for re-delivery. If after making arrangements
for a second delivery you fail to be in then the delivery may be returned
to us as undeliverable. In this case any re-delivery costs will be at
your expense.
Delivery Upgrade

for example if you pay for Royal Mail Special Delivery and the order
exceeds 2kilos we will switch it to a Commercial Courier – Next
